My 1st Post

I have been planning a blog for it seems like forever. Yet, every time I went to start it something else always came up and once again I would forget about it. This time I told myself I would get it started even if I had to spend the entire night setting it up. Now that I have a temporary set up I can begin to tell you a bit about myself.

Who is Bella?

My name is Isabella and I am a California girl through and through. I was born here and lived here all my life except for the 4 years I lived in Hawaii. My mom and dad recently moved to Venice Beach very close to the boardwalk. They sold their home in Solana Beach for a bundle and decided they wanted to go and live a bohemian retirement by "the boardwalk". Not sure how bohemian they can actually claim to be as they love in a multimillionaire dollar home, but that's a story for another time.

  

Meanwhile I found a place to live in another coastal town, Cardiff California. It's the perfect place for a young single person to live as it has a great night life and incredible beaches by day. I rent my own place near downtown and have the luxury of working at home as a virtual assistant. Not exactly what my parents think of as a dream career but I make enough to support my semi-extravagant lifestyle and since I have no kids it's perfect, at least for the time being.

I don't have a boyfriend as I prefer to date and keep my options open. When I was younger I got into a few serious relationships that ended up badly so now I take care not to repeat that, instead I see different people and I don't set my expectations to high. One day when I am ready to settle I will begin to look for the "perfect" man, but for now I date guys that are funny, attractive and fun. Nothing too serious and nothing stressful.  

Most days you will find me at my place working or at one of the local cafes with my laptop in hand doing jobs for my clients. Now I hope to make some time to get my blog going and use it as a sort of journal of my life. 

I hope I can make some friends in the bloggy community. Since most of my time is spent online I want to have  some friends that I can keep in contact with during all my hours online. I think it's going to be a blast and I can't wait to get this really going.
